Low Dose, Big Benefits: Raising Awareness of Low Dose Aspirin to Reduce the Negative Impacts of Preeclampsia is a free offering that educates healthcare professionals on the effective use of low dose aspirin to prevent preeclampsia in pregnant individuals at increased risk. 

Learning objectives: 

• Explain preeclampsia and the potential risks and implications for both the mom and the infant.
• Recall the current screening and prescribing recommendations or low dose aspirin (LDA) therapy to prevent preeclampsia.
• Describe the potential benefits and risks of LDA therapy during pregnancy. 
• Explain the basic mechanism of action of LDA in preventing maternal and infant complications.
• Collaborate with patients to address barriers and facilitators for consistent compliance for LDA therapy. 

Course is FREE. 1.0 hour of CME, CPE, and CME will be awarded for the completion of the module and the evaluation.
