Torsion is a time-sensitive, limb threatening condition best treated at hospital of preservation or closet hospital possible, Dr. Kaye will help clinical professionals understand the pathophysiology of testicular torsion, identify factors influencing testicular salvageability, and comprehend the intent of EMTALA and prevailing guidelines for pediatric patients presenting at a non-children's hospital.
