The HCC will conduct this year’s Medical Response Surge Exercise (MRSE) on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, the Hot Wash will take place on the same day from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. The MRSE is an operations-based exercise required by the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreement. It is an exercise designed to test our coalition’s functional surge capacity and to identify gaps in surge planning.   There will be no movement of actual patients. This is not an in-person exercise, all participants/players will remain at their facility/organization to participate in the functional exercise. More information and instructions for how to participate in the exercise will be emailed to you next week.
