The Medical Response and Surge Exercise (MRSE) uses a surge scenario to help recipients, health care coalitions (HCCs) and their partners assess how well they can plan, collaborate, and operationally coordinate in response to a relevant and realistic health care emergency or disaster. It is an exercise designed to test an HCC’s functional surge capacity, validate plans, identify gaps in surge planning, and strengthen partnerships. Joining the 2024-2025 MRSE Task Force ensures we meet regional needs and overall objectives.
