Summary
Step into a fast-paced pediatric emergency scenario where teamwork, quick thinking, and life-saving skills are put to the test; led by Texas PRISMs and facilitators from trauma centers across the region. From the moment you receive the patient handoff, you’ll assess, assign roles, and act—using the pediatric assessment triangle and length-based resuscitation tape to guide rapid interventions. Practice critical skills from defibrillation to airway management, and learn to make timely transfer decisions. Finish with a collaborative debrief to strengthen your confidence and readiness for real-world pediatric emergencies.
