Patient Tracking Drill

Description

NCTTRAC hosts a regional Patient Tracking Drill to assess and strengthen the region's ability to accurately and efficiently track patients during a mass casualty incident (MCI). The drill brings together hospitals, EMS agencies, and regional partners to collaborate in real-time using Pulsara as the designated patient tracking platform. Participants focus on entering, updating, and managing patient data across the system without a specific scenario, allowing for concentrated practice on system functionality, communication workflows, and interagency coordination. The drill identifies training needs, supporting protocol refinement, and enhances regional readiness for real-world emergencies.

Location

This is a virtual drill. All participants join from their respective organizations, facilities, or agencies. There is no centralized in-person location. Each team completes the drill activities remotely using their existing technology and infrastructure, allowing for broad regional participation and realistic testing of internal processes and communication workflows.
