These are "hands-on" Ham Radio Operation classes for Licensed Ham Radio Operators. Students will learn how to use the Ham ICOM 2720, ICOM 7000, and Yaesu 8800 and learn some troubleshooting tips for participating in the redundant communications drills. These radios have been issued by NCTTRAC to regional hospitals and coalition partners to aid in redundant and emergency communication through the Hospital Preparedness Program.
In order to help you learn how to operate your amateur radio equipment, we need to know the model of the radio at your facility. Please email the information to Stephanie McKinnis at SMckinnis@ncttrac.org or contact her at 817-607-7015.
